The "Bee Hive" Bee House
Encourage Mason Bees to visit and pollinate your trees, flowers, fruit and herbs. They are safe and docile around children and pets. Mason bees do not live in a nest like other bees; they live in wooden blocks. They use holes that are already available instead of making their own. The holes in our bee house replicate the natural cavities these bees would normally choose to nest in. Hang the bee house on the south side of buildings, fence posts, or trees. Handmade from Western Red Cedar. The 5/16” holes range from 2.5” to 3.5” deep. 7”diameter x 4.5”tall.
