It’ll take about 2 weeks for your carnivorous plants to arrive. To receive our live arrival guarantee, be sure to redeem the certificate when it’s above 40°F or below 85°F in your area. You’re responsible for checking your forecast before redeeming.
Carnivorous plants give off scents to attract prey. These are very mild and aren’t noticeable at all.
None of the terrariums have enough space to house small animals or insects along with the plants. Moreover, snails can eat your carnivorous plants.
Make sure the soil is moist at all times. Don’t water directly over the plant, the water will wash off the sticky liquid. Little flies like gnats can stick to the leaves but house flies can be too big for your Cape sundew to catch.
The lid has been provided to prevent accidental trap closings in case of Venus flytraps or unintentional harm to the plants in general. You can keep the lid off at all times if you want your plants to naturally catch their prey. When your plants outgrow the height of the terrarium you should keep the lid off at all times.
As long as your carnivorous plants receive at least 4 hours of sunlight, they will do fine without a grow light.
