How long will it take for the worms to arrive after I redeem the certificate?

It’ll take about 2 weeks for your worms to arrive. To receive our live arrival guarantee, be sure to redeem the certificate when it’s above 40°F or below 85°F in your area. You’re responsible for checking your forecast before redeeming.

I can notice more worms every few weeks inside the worm farm. Are they multiplying?

Yes, your worms will multiply every few weeks and their numbers will grow over time. You can make your own composting farm with your new worms and do your bit for the environment.

Can I touch and hold the worms?

You can touch and hold the worms very carefully before putting them in the worm farm. But once they’re inside the worm farm, you shouldn’t try to pick them up.

What kind of soil should I provide when setting up the worm farm?

Potting soil without any fertilizers or other chemicals is the best. You can use whatever soil is available in your backyard.

Can I order worms during the winter?

Yes, we ship worms all year-round. You can order worms during the winter if the temperature in your area is above 40°F for the next 7 days.
